"A Day to Say Thank You" now available!

RIDGEVILLE CORNERS, OHIO, (July 2, 2019) – Squeezebox Ethnic Music Publishing BMI along with Ted Lange and Mollie B are proud to announce the official release of “A Day To Say Thank You,” the song they co-wrote and performed in the most recent Clint Eastwood movie, The Mule.

In March 2018, Mollie B was asked to appear in a Warner Brothers film directed by and starring Clint Eastwood.  According to the folks at Warner Brothers Studios, Clint Eastwood was (and still is) a Mollie B fan and wanted to know if Mollie would be in his upcoming movie, The Mule. Mollie B reached out to Ted Lange and the two of them began working on original songs to perform in the movie. The scene was a grand re-opening of a VFW which included “Earl Stone” played by Clint Eastwood. Filming of the scene took place south of Atlanta, Georgia with Mollie B fans on set. While on set, Mollie’s role was extended from playing and singing to also dancing with Clint Eastwood. The movie was released on December 14, 2018 with Mollie and Ted having the opportunity to attend the premiere in Westwood, California. The nearly two-minute scene features the song Mollie and Ted co-wrote, “A Day to Say Thank You”.

This song was written to honor those who have served and continue to serve in the armed forces.  “We thank you for your sacrifice and hope you’ll enjoy this special tribute. God Bless!” – Ted & Mollie B
